AG James and Multistate Coalition Secure Court Order Blocking Government from Freezing Federal Funds
New York Attorney General Letitia James, leading a coalition of 22 other attorneys general, today won a preliminary injunction against the Trump administration to block its illegal policy that would freeze funding for essential federal agency grants, loans, and other financial assistance programs. Judge John J. McConnell of the U.S. District Court for the District of Rhode Island today granted the preliminary injunction after Attorney General James and the coalition sued the Trump administration

Protesters Gather in Corning, March to Rep. Nick Langworthy's Office
About 100 demonstrators gathered in Corning, hours prior to the State of the Union Address, to protest the president's policies, including the abandonment of Ukraine, government employee firings, and unjustified program cuts by DOGE. Citizens also demanded that Rep. Nick Langworthy call a townhall meeting so that local residents may voice their concerns and engage in dialogue. Langworthy was not at his office.

Lawsuit to Protect Americans from Elon Musk’s DOGE

Married Women Could Be Stopped From Voting Under SAVE Act
...Much of the documentation listed under the SAVE Act is based on having a birth certificate that matches the person registering to vote. However, as many as 69 million married women in the United States have changed their legal name since getting married, meaning their name does not match their birth certificate, according to the Center for American Progress.
